Before you ask God to forgive you, there’s something really important to do first, make things right with the people you’ve hurt. The Bible says that if you’re about to give something to God, whether it’s a gift, a prayer, or worship, and suddenly remember that someone has something against you, stop right there. Go make peace with them first, then come back to God.
