Prayers For My Grown Son
Lord, my son is grown now. He’s making his own choices, walking his own path. But Father, I don’t want him to do life on his own, I want him to walk with You. I want him to follow your lead, not just his own understanding. I want him to move in step with your Spirit, not just the pressures of the world.
Let your word be the voice he listens to. Let it rise louder than every opinion, every fear, every voice of confusion. Let your word be the mouth he speaks with. Let wisdom come from his lips. Let truth fill his conversations. Let grace shape his language.
Let Your word be the eyes he sees with. Let him recognize what’s of your and what is not. Let him see purpose where others see nothing. Let him see danger before it comes near. Let him see people the way you see them.
Lord, I surrender my grown son into Your guidance. Lead him when he’s uncertain. Correct him when he strays. Speak clearly when he’s overwhelmed. Let him trust You more than himself, and love You more than the world. I place him in Your hands, Father, the safest place he can be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
1. Prayer for His Protection
Heavenly Father, I lift up my grown son to You today. I thank you for the life you gave him and every breath he takes. Lord, surround him with Your divine protection.
