God, in His grace and love, has given us permission, yes, even the freedom, to bring our deepest desires before Him. His Word encourages us to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7), even when what we long for feels impossible. He is a miracle-working God, and no request is too great, too small, or too complicated for Him to hear.
But in our asking, we must also carry the humility to trust that God sees what we cannot. We often pray with the belief that if we receive the love we want or the relationship we yearn for, it will bring us peace. And sometimes it will. But sometimes, what we desire may not align with the peace God intends to give us. It might bring more confusion, pain, or distraction from the path He designed for our healing and growth.
