Our relationship with God is the key that unlocks the doors of heaven. And prayer is how we grow that relationship. That’s why Jesus told us to ask, to seek, and to knock (Matthew 7:7). He wasn’t just giving good advice, He was giving a command. He wants us to come to Him, to talk to Him, and to trust that He hears us.

Lord, it’s Wednesday, the middle of the week. Sometimes, by this point, I’m already feeling tired, a little worn down, maybe even overwhelmed. Please meet me right here, just as I am. I don’t have to pretend with you, and I’m thankful for that. You see every thought, every worry, every part of me, and you still love me.
Help me today to keep my eyes on what really matters. Don’t let me get too caught up in stress or distractions. If I start to lose my peace, gently remind me to pause and come back to You. Give me the strength to handle whatever comes my way, one step at a time. And if I feel weak, remind me that your strength is enough for me.
Please guide my words today. Help me speak with kindness, listen with patience, and act with love. Let me be a light to someone who may be struggling, even if it’s just through a smile or a kind word.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for bringing us together this evening. It’s no small thing that we’ve made it through another part of the week and are able to gather in your house. Whether we came here with hearts full of joy, heavy burdens, or just needing a quiet moment with You, we know You welcome us just as we are.
Lord, we invite Your presence into this place. This is your house, and we are your people. Please come and dwell among us. Let every part of this service, the songs, the prayers, the message, the fellowship, be led by Your Spirit and guided by Your truth. We don’t want to just go through the motions tonight. We want to meet with you. We want to hear from you. We want to leave here changed.
We know that some have come here tired, carrying things they haven’t spoken about. Some are dealing with stress, fear, or pain. Others may feel distant from you, wondering if you’re even listening. Lord, meet each person right where they are. Wrap them in your love. Speak peace into every storm and strength into every weakness.
We thank you for this midweek moment, a time to pause and refocus. As we open our hearts in worship and turn our ears toward Your Word, prepare us to receive what You want to say. Give us soft hearts, clear minds, and a desire to grow in faith.
